Not an extremely poplular project, but sometimes necessary none the less. The most common reason seems to be corrosion resistance. Granulated fertilizer is extremely hard on paint and metal. Luckily Line-X is extremely resistant to most chemicals. We've been shown vans that were less than 5 years old, but on the verge of rusting through because of fertilizer. Often when spraying the rear of these vans a piece of angle iron or some other barrier is "sprayed in place" behind the front seats, keeping any liquid spills from running up front. Other advantages are the sound dampening qualities and skid resistance. Adding Line-X kills some of the road and rear axle noise, also quieting down and keeping in place any cargo being hauled.
